WATERS EDGE CIVIC ASSOCIATION- Board Meeting- 8/31/24
Minutes of the WECA meeting held on 8/31/24 at 1030AM.
1-Welcome
2-Pledge of Allegiance
3-Condolences were offered to Donna on the loss of her brother, Michael.
4-WECA "End of Summer" party will be held on Saturday September 7th 1-4 PM at 154 Temple Ave. Handouts were given to all residents. Peter and Nancy will be providing cornhole and giant Jenga games. Cathy also will provide a cornhole game. Facepainting will be available for children 1-230PM. Sealife keychains will be offered to children who participate as prizes. Marie has made up and collected baskets for the raffle. A full list of donors will be posted after the party. There will be a 50/50 and a Chinese auction for the baskets. Volunteers were asked to arrive between 12-1230 for help setting up.

6-A big thank you to Chuck and Marie for setting up the security camera on the Temple Ave. property.
7-If we haven't already done so this year, the FD and ambulance companies will receive donations of $200 apiece.
8-Members expressed that we are blessed to live in such a beautiful neighborhood.
9-Fred will replace the doggie bag box locks on Royal and Temple.
10-Fred and Lori are stepping down from the WECA Board. Members were encouraged to volunteer for the board. Nominations and elections will be held at the next meeting on Sunday September 29th at 1030AM at 141 Temple Ave.
