· Fred spoke to the Police Sgt of Community Affairs and he has agreed to come speak at a meeting. We need to formulate questions and give concerns in order for him to be prepared with responses. So far, Speeding seems to be a main issue. A member also has a concern with the center lane on 24 being used as a merge or as a lane. We will post a question on FB in order to gather questions and concerns for the Sgt. Then a date will be planned. We hope everyone will attend.

· Donna G. attended FRNCA meeting which focused on issues with the Riverside trail, Wildwood, and Ludlam Ave Park. Police will be patrolling more often. More officers are needed. There are currently 99 and they can hire 7 more. In Riverside. There is a plan for a fishing pier and a kayak launch. People were urged to use the trail safely. Walk with a group or partner. Be aware of your surroundings.

· Kurt spoke to the Trustees re: end of our roads. We are on the list but there are no funds currently.

· Members complained about parking on lawns or lawns that are overgrown in the neighborhood. The town website page has a section where pictures can be sent.

· Block Party plans - We got a quote for insurance and have permit forms. The date will be September 7th, 2024. Fred called a company that does all kinds of entertainment for outside parties, including music, face painting, popcorn, ices, etc.

No food will be served and members are urged to bring a picnic lunch. We may have a potluck table.

We need a committee for set up and clean up; also to run games. We will try to have cornhole and hula hoops etc.
